You are invited to attend this free half-day event to mark the end of the AHRC funding for our network, ‘Unlocking Landscapes: History, Culture and Sensory Diversity in Landscape Use and Decision Making’. This will be both a chance to discuss the network activities over the past three years and reflect on future directions for inclusive landscape research, use and interpretation.

We have a google form for registration here: https://forms.gle/Ggt8hwn2UkkKcm8k7

At the event we will launch our new report, ‘Unlocking Landscapes: The inclusive role of sensory histories of people and place’, written in collaboration with the Sensory Trust. Developed through network workshops and events, the report foregrounds the potential for sensory history scholarship to disrupt and expand the types of stories shared about landscape; moving beyond dominant forms of landscape encounter and enabling a greater diversity of people to ‘be’ and belong in historic landscapes. This report is intended for anyone involved in the management and interpretation of such landscapes.

For more details download the programme using the button above.

We look forward to seeing you there!
